Piper noticed the grin, of course, and he chalked it up as Will being Will. No one could ever mistake Will for being a nice guy, that was for sure. Piper thought maybe it stemmed from insecurity, because that was usually the case with guys like Will. But hadn't come to a final decision yet.
He glanced over at the faucet, then at the light above his head, then back toward the front door. Then he looked back at Will. "Not scared that way. I'm not exactly menacing, Will." He sighed. "More like coming on too strong, scared. Or..." he thought about how to explain Reed, "like they were doing something, but didn't want to. And the other one kissed well, but there was nothing in the attic but mean."
