Did Joanie seriously just stomp her foot? He thought only five-year-olds did that. "Fine!" Sam echoed. "And I'll just be impulsive and monkey-like, whenever the hell I want!"
And so for his first act of impulsiveness, he grabbed Joanie's wrist and yanked her toward him. He kissed her firmly, slanting his mouth over hers and holding the kiss for as long as he could before breaking it, burying his face in her neck, kissing there too. He kissed under her ear and then trailed kisses along her jaw before attacking her mouth again, mumbling a "So there" against her lips.
