Who: Bran, James and Lotte
What: Operation Rent
Where: Around Paris
When: Day 3
Warnings: Awkwardness, glaring, etc

Bran and Lotte had returned to their shelter to find that neither Brian nor Lucas had returned, so the stale bread and other meager food they'd found was enough - for two people, at least. He still wished he'd found a better weapon and resolved to go out looking again in the morning, but for tonight the knife would have to do. The night passed sleeplessly once again, although Erik did let him sleep for a combined total of two hours overall; apparently watching over Lotte was still more important than fighting off exhaustion.

As their third day in Paris dawned, he tried to find some water while she slept and only succeeded in finding a small pool of what might have been rainwater, or perhaps something spilled from a bottle. He felt like an animal, crouched on the dusty ground and lapping it up, but it was either degrade himself or die of thirst.

Once Lotte was awake they headed out again, still caught in a silence that had become more awkward than tense in the last twenty-four hours.
