She didn't notice the wolf until he loped across the sand, and if she hadn't seen Shane turn into the creature, she might have been frightened. As it was, she just looked at him curiously, the curiosity widening into a teasing, playful grin after a moment.
"You drag your clothes all the way here?" she asked, and it was obvious that the notion of him doing that entertained her.
