Rosalie gave a vague shrug. She had spent enough time in Europe that she was fairly well versed in it's history, particularly that of the various monarchies. "The last tsar and tsarina of Russia. Also the last absolute monarchy in Europe. They were shot by - not the Communists. Or they were, maybe, but not yet. They had a different name then - now?" She shook her head, dismissing the uncertainty. "Four daughters and a younger boy, Alexei, who was a hemophiliac." This was where things were likely to get muddled, since Rosalie had seen the animated version of Anastasia as a girl and several times since and was more likely to start singing than she was to come up with dozens more facts.
There were several moments of worry about Daniel and to some extent, Helena, before the rest of what Ella had said cut through. "Vlad's here? He's alright?" Then, "William, Will? And Jane? Oh, god, all of us?" Rosalie had little confidence that the however-many residents of Bellum could all wander through early 20th century Russia and not have a few people be arrested or killed, people who could be Stefan or Daniel or Nicky. For the first time, she was a little glad Boyd had left before all of this had come about.
"They were fine when I went out to look for food this morning," she answered, finally remembering that Ella had asked her a question. "Did he say what we were supposed to do?"
