Javert didn't so much as flinch at Daniel's movement. Unless he transformed, he wasn't an obstacle, even if it would probably disappoint that Ella girl - he knew Luther liked her and he hadn't minded Beauty either. If Daniel transformed, his bullets should still make their parts.
"No," he said, tone brisk and chin high. "I'll be attempting to back up the story. Should Luther return, I imagine he'll look for the others. Until then, I'll help him figure out a better plan." His tone implied how much of a fool he thought his counterpart was. He gave short nod, stepping back. "They've got an eye on us now - remember that." His eyes rested on Vlad for a moment, before he slipped off, heading for the village that could be seen in the daylight.
