There was a slow nod at Vlad's explanation. If he gave up his throne, then technically the take-over was alright. His lips pressed together into a firm line a the mention of poor decisions - if he was the head of a government, whatever it was called, he couldn't make one. Regardless, they didn't deserve to die or be hurt - especially not the wife and children.
