"The materials?" Xavier asked, the terminology confusing him. Dentistry hadn't been something he knew all that much about - just the bits he gleaned secondhand from books. Other areas in the medical industry had interested him while reading; the mouth had seemed trivial at the time.

He hadn't forgotten that and it would have been used as a back-up plan, if his careless 'twelve years or so' hadn't worked. Not the whole truth - WITSEC and a few pieces here and there. There was something about Brian that seemed normal though - near the mid-life crisis stage but had never seen anything too terrible. He seemed reliable; predictable even. Even if he wasn't sure the 'baseball' story was the truth. "I do."
