She raised a brow at his little spiel on alcohol. He seemed to contradict everything she knew, and she wasn't sure if she was just that stupid or he wanted to completely fuck everybody else's perceptions of the world. For the moment, she'd go with "he's being a contrary crazy person" until he proved otherwise.
She took the third beer and wiggled it slightly in thanks, not bothering with a spoken thank you. He'd already gotten one. At his questioning, she snorted. "Do you really think I'd tell you if I killed the guy? Maybe it's the element of surprise that I like the most." She flashed a grin full of teeth before taking a sip. "What fun is killing you if you're expecting it? I wouldn't expect you to give me a heads-up if you planned on chopping me up into pieces and leaving me in a ditch."
