He hated feeling crazy. Dragging a hand through his hair, he sighed, leaning back against the nearest building. "I know that everything in you wants to disbelieve me," he said, talking to Samuel's shoes. "I know that your education and your rationale eliminate everything that I'm telling you." He glanced up at the other man, looking him briefly in the face. "But I'm telling you the truth."
At the question of the other residents, he nodded. "Everybody that was living in the building during the last full moon knows." He paused, a sarcastic little smile on his face. "Yes, these events seem to occur during the full moon. It's ridiculous." He sighed. At the question of who he was, he looked away nervously. He didn't want to tell him. But perhaps if he did, perhaps if he extended a tiny bit of trust, Samuel wouldn't write him off as insane.
