The mention of his research topics temporarily left Archer breathless. He stared at the other man for a moment, a paper smile spreading across his face. "I would be very happy to read them all, they sound fascinating." And they did. This was one of those few times when he wasn't lying for the sake of being polite. He had found somebody he could talk to about these things that would be just as excited as he was.
At the question of where to go, he paused, stuffing both his hands into his pockets. "I'm not sure," he said truthfully. "I rarely leave my apartment." He paused. "I've set up my own research equipment there, I've found..." He trailed off, frowning. "It's more reliable to control your own environment." Arthur Kemp's attempt at stealing his preliminary research in college had stuck with him, making him paranoid and stingy. He preferred to control his environment to prevent anything like that from happening again. "So I am not very familiar with our surroundings. Perhaps we can start walking until we see something promising."
