He was only able to feel a faint strain of pity for the man in the cell - he'd brought this on himself by raping Boyd and murdering Aaron, and if he was truly innocent then he shouldn't have buried him in the catacombs like a coward. He deserved better than that, to be left in a basement and forgotten.
