A brow arched at that sudden outburst, and while he completely understood where she was coming from, it seemed a bit... something. But Oliver didn't comment, taking note of how she settled further away from him. So for a long while, his attention was focused on the movie, taking a few sips here and then of the beer.
During a lull in the movie, he nudged Aiden. "Switch me spots, hmm? My back's aching and I'll be better on the floor," he said, keeping his voice pitched low. He hadn't meant to piss her off, and even though he imagined it would cool down, he really thought he'd be more comfortable on the floor.
Despite the horrible movie, this was a good reason why he didn't socialize often.
