It was hard to tell when people were being serious or just attempting to be polite. He watched her for a moment, mildly concerned by the wrinkle in her brow. However, she seemed genuine enough. And it was probably a good thing for him to get out of his apartment and talk to a human being every now and then.

"Okay," he said, nodding slightly. "That sounds really nice." He smiled, picking up the groceries he had been carrying and following her inside the apartment. "Just tell me where to put these."
