A thin laugh escaped him as she mentioned not having competition. He nodded, following her to the stairs at his regular slow pace. "That is very true. I'm the only option, which by default makes me the best one." His smile was stretched, almost plastic.
He nodded. "Oh yeah, I'd almost forgotten. I don't know too many dentists outside of where I practice, but I promise that the ones I work with are good." His smile grew a bit more real as he approached the stairs, absently shifting the groceries to his other hand. "We've got a few general dentists that are great for exams, and three hygienists that rotate."
