If he was sure of anything, he was sure that he was no one's pet. But he was a little surprised to be recognized for what he was. This woman, at least, knew what she was talking about. If he had been a normal wolf, she likely would have been right on all counts.
His ears flattened. He didn't like that prediction. He was not going to be caught, not by a long shot.
