He suspected this might be another one of his jokes, so Vlad simply shrugged. "I think it has more to do with the way I talk. If I spoke differently, perhaps I would not give off such 'weird vibes'." He smirked and cleared his throat for effect. "I don't think most people think I'm capable of talking like this, but they don't realize it's a choice rather than a simple inability to talk like a regular American." He spoke without a hint of accent, a marked change from his usual accented drawl, and after laughing at the waitress' expression as she passed their table he reverted back to his usual way of speaking.
It was only faintly unsettling, the way Max said that one simple word, but at the same time the prospect of killing with a partner again was thrilling. He knew he shouldn't, but instead he simply smiled. "I will keep that in mind."
