Vlad Drăgoi {Dracula} ([info]nobleblood) wrote in [info]bellumlogs,
Vlad was well aware of the fact that he made some people uncomfortable, but he'd never usually minded - if he cared enough to get to know someone, then he was quite capable of appearing friendly and approachable. Still, it did make him slightly defensive all the same. "That might be because I am European, Max." He let a few moments pass, trying and failing to resist pursuing the topic further by taking a drink. "You think this 'weird vibe' is because of the way I dress?"

Trying to imagine what other people would think if they heard what Max said made him stifle his laughter, but at least no one would think he was talking about murder. "The cemetery near Bellum is almost always empty, and it is especially deserted at night. Not many people go near it - as well, the park is not bad either, especially underneath the bridge." He knew that one from experience. "There is no shortage of dark alleyways in the city, of course... filled with the sort of people no one would miss." It was only slightly alarming, how easily he could talk about this when he'd been trying to avoid the very topic for so long, and he pointedly avoided thinking of Helena or anyone else who might inspire some kind of guilt.
