If this had taken place in the real world, beyond the expanse of dreams, then Vlad would have been far more wary than he currently was. He knew that whatever happened here wasn't real - not in the sense that it would carry over to real life. He'd killed Emil in a dream, after all, but the man had been very much alive once he had awakened. Not that he planned on letting Aiden kill him, since death would be a defeat, and he was not going to let this man defeat him; dream or no dream.
"No." Vlad shook his head, beginning to move among the impaled bodies. "This is only a dream, however real it may feel... and it does feel quite feel." He regarded him with something akin to curiosity, accompanied by a head tilt that was more Dracula than himself. "Your hatred of me goes beyond our fables. Why?"
