For a moment, he almost felt bad. Clearly this woman needed to talk to somebody that could empathize with her. She needed a friend that could share her emotions and tell her that it was okay. Archer wasn't that friend. He was awkward and unfeeling and difficult. But he would try, for her sake.
"Don't apologize." At her half-smile, he returned the favor. "I believe that this building has a knack for doing that to people. Please don't feel guilty, this has been a difficult night for everybody."
