Nick followed her back to the small tea bar, eyes taking in the layout of the shop. He liked it so far, perhaps only for the fact there were no other customers for the moment. As he took a seat, he looked at his hands for a moment and shrugged. "It was just, you looked sad. And I wanted to ask what was wrong, you know? But it's kinda rude cause I don't really know you very well and it's prying."
He shrugged again and said, "And, like, I felt like I shouldn't ask anyway, cause you're kinda my boss. And I'm probably making a really weird first impression." Nick finally seemed to notice his rambling answer and stopped abruptly.
