Peter sighed a bit and tried to think about how to answer the question, all in all it had been a bad situation, and it was clear it had taken it's toll on Iris, but all things considered they had gotten out without any blood being shed. "Honestly, things fell apart there at the end, but she was a champ when we first got there. I think it could have gone worse if she'd been in there with just a bunch of strangers," he said hoping that he didn't sound like he was tooting his own horn. He was just glad he was able to be there for her at all. "And considering how bad it was, she still managed not to hit me with the bullet and was a big part of us getting out of there."
He liked that Micah seemed to know about the whole dream walking escapade and it made it much easier not to dance around how they knew each other. "I don't know how much of that I was responsible for, I just am glad she thinks so," he answered honestly. It was always nice to know that you were able to help someone.
He took the cup of coffee happily and took a sip thanking Micah for it. He chuckled a bit at the question about the sea creature, "Lovecraft was the first real author I picked up that wasn't a school assignment, Cthulu was pretty much the most horrifying thing I could imagine as a kid."
