Leaning back against the arm rest, Lotte restrained herself from protesting. Saying she shouldn't have asked would only make her wince. She did have a right to know, didn't she?

She let the subject of music drop as well, not wanting to hear anything else. He wasn't asking her the same questions or about singing which was enough. He didn't seem the type to care anyhow, barely looking at her as it is. She took another swallow of tea, another thing reminding her. "You sounded different - back before in the catacombs and on the watch. Which one's your real voice?" It was the main reason why she hadn't connected the two; he'd sounded so different. A small part of her wished he had Erik's voice, but it was shoved aside. It wouldn't help reassuring Ella, even if it would be a change to hear someone who didn't scare her speak in that voice.
