She didn't say anything else, slipping out of the other end of the kitchen and down the hall to her bedroom. There wasn't really a reason to give him warning was there? She grabbed a pair of socks and a pair of pants, putting the latter on under the nightgown she was still wearing. It really was too cold. There was only a brief look towards him, before she went back into the kitchen and pouring out the boiling water.
Bringing the two plain mugs into the living room, she passed the one with milk off to him and kept the sugar-only one to herself. Once that was passed off, she sat down on the left side of the couch. She turned so she faced him, back against the armrest, her legs crossed Indian style. The cup of tea was cradled between her hands and sipped while she tried to think of a good starting point.
There really seemed to be no way to end the awkwardness. Unless she started to panic or get angry, which meant she'd be awkward later
