Nina Castel ([info]esseule) wrote in [info]bellumlogs,
Nina had been walking back from work. The scene with Joss had quickly been forgotten for more dramatic things and she had made a lot of tips from the college students happy to be done for the semester. Except now, she realized immediately, she was not on a dark street, but rather in a bright, old fashioned room with food and tea.

She tensed warily, looking completely out of place in her dark skirt, jacket, and shirt against the warm colors of the room as she assessed the other three. The girl was blushing and Nina fairly quickly discounted her as a threat. The men though-- she wasn't sure, and she double checked her knife and gun. Both were there and she allowed herself to shift down her level of alarm.

"There are no doors," she commented tonelessly. It was the first thing she had noticed. There were windows, though, if it came to it, although she didn't recognize the outside setting beyond them.
