Rick, obviously content with his current role as a team player, took the book. Settling his shoulders a little back in his jacket and unsnapping his weapon, he didn't wait for more input, he just opened it to the first page, and read, in a distanced, sort of bemused kind of voice, "Aggravated Assault. Assault with a deadly weapon." He paused, eyes skimming down the page, and let his eyebrows tilt upward. Interesting. Then he kept going from breaking and entering onward. There were more crimes, most of them violent, though there was also insubordination and a few more having to do with sharing confidential information. He went over 'first degree murder' without a pause, since he was in a rhythm with it by that time, and ended with a curious, inquiring high note.
