Cole didn't say anything. He wasn't going to force anyone to admit their secrets, but that didn't mean he was going to convince them otherwise either. He wanted to get out, and if they wanted to get out too then the choice was theirs. He listened to Iris' confession without interrupting, making sure his expression was blank. He was in no position to judge anyone, and people made mistakes. It was a fact of life.
When the box opened, he set it down on the table, not sure if he wanted to know what was in it. He frowned when John pulled out the gun, looking back to the plaque. "There must be a gun in the other box, too. Two bullets for two people... but we can't actually have to shoot someone. I mean, that's murder. Unless it's just in the arm of something, but even that..." He trailed off, shaking his head.
