She could make no complaints. The weekend after the full moon was a week or two away, but she supposed that wasn't long to wait, not really. And she'd seen him at two fairly close intervals. It would be good to put some timely distance between the two of them. And she needed to put more time in with her shop, too. Shifting her gaze over Luther's shoulder, she watched Emma and Jake quickly look away. There was only one other customer in the store, so she wasn't too surprised that they were watching her. She had no doubt that they would volunteer dating advice tomorrow afternoon.
Shifting her attention back to Luther, a slow smile spread across her lips. "Perhaps I shall come over and surprise you," she said, one brow arched. Her smile grew as she lifted her tea cup to her lips and took a sip. "I will wear a pretty dress and cook you dinner." It was funny, though he didn't know it, because she rarely wore dresses and she couldn't cook to save her life. Microwave dinners all around; she only cooked for herself when she had no choice.
