As they walked through the park, Diego listened to Lotte, nodding at her admission. "Ah, yes, that is difficult," he said. Friend problems were always messy, which was something he strangely knew little about. Diego moved around so much that he had very few friends for longer than a few weeks. Even friends he visited again were seen so briefly that no real problems could occur between them. The closest thing he had to these issues were problems with his bodyguards, and even then it wasn't the same. After all, they worked for him.
He frowned as she mentioned her problem. "Hmmm. Perhaps the problem isn't you, eh? You seem to be a trustworthy person, Lotte. If she doesn't trust you, or is being odd as you say, maybe she has no problems with you, but problems with trust itself." He shrugged. "Or perhaps she is not worthy of your friendship." He laughed, jostling her gently as they approached the bridge that cut through the park. "I'm kidding! But yes, I think that if this bothers you so, you should discuss it with her."
