Deirdre found herself nodding sharply at the thought of privacy. Anything this woman had to say, especially if it was important enough to search her down to discuss, was not something she wanted to hear within earshot of strangers such as the customers of the shop. "I would prefer something more private, yes."
Her expression was still stern, but softened the slightest bit at Katya's introduction and the thought of a cup of tea. She glanced at the tin in Katya's hands, wondering what sorts of flavors might be inside.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Katya." The pleasantry was nearly automatic and not necessarily heartfelt, and there was a moment of hesitation before the reciprocation. "I'm Deirdre."
