Hannah hadn't received any response back from Boyd, which only made her even more sure of the fact that she needed to do something. For a moment she considered contacting Shane, but that didn't seem like a good idea. She was worried about him, worried that he wasn't right, and that wasn't very comforting. Getting him involved might make things worse, and she didn't want that.
She still had the hotel's address written down, and it only took her five minutes at the most to pull on jeans and a sweatshirt, pulling her hair up into a ponytail before grabbing her wallet and heading out. A cab wouldn't take too long to get to the hotel, although she tried to calculate the exact travel time as she descended the stairs. All she could tell herself was that it would be okay, that she'd get there in time and maybe get something that made a little more sense out of Boyd.
She was already dialing the number for a cab by the time she reached the lobby, pressing the phone to her ear and pushing open the doors to wait outside. A swift glance to the side caught a glimpse of a taxi leaving, and she took a few steps forward even though she knew there was no way to wave it down. Once her gaze moved, however, she noticed someone walking towards the building. Hannah frowned, trying to get a look at who it was as she approached. It couldn't be... didn't she say she wasn't coming?
"Boyd?" She shook her head, not even caring if she was wrong and would end up being embarrassed. "What are you doing here?"
