Who: Jason [NPC] What: Some discoveries should not be revealed. Where: 804, then his own flat. When: Fairly past midnight tonight. Warnings: Nothing except the usual creepy.
Jason had a plan for everything. When it came to the way the world worked and its insistence on not always cooperating nor catering to his desires, having backup measures were prudent and always left him with the upper hand in the end.
Admittedly, it had taken him a week to enact plan B after he spent time seething, tending to his injured face and sending threats out of anger. By the time he fully calmed down, Jason berated himself for allowing rage to get the best of him. No genius let silly things such as emotions get in the way of anything he was plotting. He patiently waited until his dear friend darkness swept over the land before slipping his way back into 804.
The damage was still evident, but he didn't bother with any of that equipment, nor the ripped note still scattered across the floor like psychotic flower petals. Moving a slightly scorched chair into position, he carefully unscrewed the bolts that held the vent panel in place, reaching inside to pull out the backup camera that had been keeping a keen eye of anyone entering and exiting the premises.
Sneaking back to his flat, Jason hooked everything up and started viewing the recording a week before his unfortunate run in with the 'malfunction.' Most of the playback was fairly boring as the apartment had stayed empty for nearly all the time and so there was a lot of fastforwarding. When he saw figures on the screen he resumed play. There was a woman with what appeared to be a bag of something, like she knew the all that equipment was there. Then there was a shirtless man whom he recalled seeing in scrubs a few times before. Jason watched the entire situation unfold before his eyes, taking careful note of the woman destroying the equipment, the man only a hapless accomplice. Seems the animals have bite after all.
Returning to his dvds, Jason scrolled through his recordings, noting the room numbers for the intruders. The man would be dealt with in due time. But the woman, she started it. Time to send a warning.
Cole really needed to put a leash on these people. Animals often get lost that way.
