Evie let out the breath she was holding and hugged him back. She couldn't care less if Nicky tagged long with her forever, as long as he was happy. "We'll figure all of this out," she promised. "You're right, we've got each other." And as if this wasn't getting sappy enough, she squeezed him a little tighter and then stepped back and grinned a little. "So some return, huh?"
