She nodded, offering a shy smile. "I've always loved animals, and I actually adopted my dog from there - so when I started looking for a job, it just made sense." It hadn't been a long-term sort of job, and she knew that eventually she'd have to either get a better one or enroll in college; or both. "Oh, I'd still like to volunteer even after I find another job. I'll make the time if I have to, but the only problem is I'm not really sure what else to do." Complaining was the last thing she wanted to end up doing, though, especially when Diego was being such good company. "But I'm sure I'll figure something out."
Hannah had never really thought of Cinderella as brave, but then again her tale didn't really require her to do very much except put up with her stepmother and stepsisters, go to a few balls, and eventually marry the prince - all while retaining her kind nature. "She is braver than I thought she would be. Maybe I should wait and see if the same thing happens on the next full moon, and then we'll know which of our fables caused it."
She didn't recognize the shop, but she liked that it was nice without being too overbearing or flashy. "Thank you," she said, flashing a quick smile over her shoulder as she stepped past the open door and inside.
