"Leah never existed. She was just a name and a face for Vaughn to hide behind." It was a useful ability, he had to admit, one he was slightly envious of. "I cannot pretend to know Vaughn, but..." He paused, trying to figure out just how to word the impression she gave him. "Once I thought she was easy to figure out and predict. Now, I am not so sure. Her unpredictability makes her dangerous." He made no mention of their deal, where he agreed to stay out of her way in exchange for Helena's safety.
Vlad glanced down at their hands almost absently, silent for a few moments. "I want to talk to him about it, but I think I would merely end up yelling at him," he admitted. "That is the last thing he needs, but it is just so frustrating. I thought he was past this."
