"About a month ago," Luther said, watching her. He moved to follow her but found that she was moving too fast. Deciding there wasn't any real reason to be at her heels, he remained in the living room taking a closer inspection.
He looked up when she returned, taking the couch he'd been on the night before. "I believe it's the book version," he said, frowning slightly. No need to admit he hadn't finished reading it and thus wasn't sure. "He doesn't want to burst into song, thankfully." Though all in all he liked the man - as long as they weren't fighting memories when transformed.
"I'm a homicide investigator. Just been officially reassigned to the local district. And what about you?" It was carefully said, but he was curious. "Are you dating a felon?"
