A bold-faced lie but Daisy didn't care; she wanted the tall, dark, and interesting to continue to be cute-ly uncomfortable and not openly uncomfortable.
His comment made her laugh but she caught herself, giving him an apologetic smile. "Who are you, not normally?" Then: "Oh! I'm Daisy, normally, but last night I think I was Maid Marian. From Robin Hood, you know? She's kind of a puss, really, very boring, and dressed in furs, which I hate but I guess it's better than being one of Cinderella's evil stepsisters, you know?"
