There was a brief moment where she stared at him, before she shook her head. It was the same smile as before, not wiped away as she wiped stray ice cream. "Well, I'm glad you're not having trouble in Bellum," she said honestly. "It's not for everyone." More and more people seemed to vanish or move out, when she looked into things.
She nodded, putting her crumpled napkin in her cup. "Just in the states, back when I met you. My father and I never stayed in one place more than a month or so, until we had to sell the car." She shrugged, forcing herself to not think too much on what she said. "The Government didn't like that and we settled down afterwards."
