A small yelp escaped her when she was hugged. She hadn't quite expected it and after everything, couldn't help but be jumpy. But a moment later she relaxed and squeezed him back. Mentally telling herself to calm down, she forced her smile to be larger.
"I just need some sun," Lotte protested, before pulling him towards the counter. "I've been inside and can't get enough here-" It was a small shrug, not entirely the truth.
There was a small line, mostly with school children who just got out of school. Once situated, Lotte shrugged again. "Alright, considering. You?" In a more teasing tone, she added, "You seemed to have reacted pretty well to the other evening."
