Tegan stared at the boy in her bed, trying to make her thoughts and memories fit back together. He seemed so familiar to her, even more than just a night as two other people should make him, she thought. He seemed somehow larger than he'd been the night before, limbs awkward instead of sure and strong.
"I... 'm not really sure? I think we - flew?" It seemed ridiculous to say, but it was equally ridiculous that he'd be sitting near her, close enough that she could still feel how warm he was. It took a moment for her to realize that he was in a hospital gown, blinking as she recalled helping him feel better the night before. "Are you okay?"
