Though Archer was never good with people, he could see anger when it presented itself. And this man was quite angry. At the questions and accusations, he wrinkled his nose, looking most displeased. "I am a geneticist, not a psychologist." He said the last word as if it were a horrible swear or the name of a particularly disgusting insect. "Any experiment I run is in a controlled laboratory, performed on samples of genetic material."
With a painfully patient sigh, he took a slight step back, rubbing one hand along his bare arm. "Dr. Jasper Archer. I moved here to study this phenomenon. If there is a link between these transformations and genetic expression...the implications are just extraordinary."
