Will heard the man stumble and was down the stairs as quickly as he could manage, still seeing things half in nothing but black and more black. He rounded the corner of the landing and saw the man crumpled on the steps. Carefully, and still with one hand firmly on the banister, he approached the naked man and, after a moment's hesitation, offered him a hand.
"Get up," Will said, trying to keep his voice at least semi-personable and probably failing miserably. "What the hell just happened here? And why are you naked?" There was no reason for anybody to be running around without clothes on in a building, especially not someone who was apparently as sober as this guy was.
