When the lion sounded with a gruff and heavy feline sound, the dancer recoiled. Not far, but the instinct was all the same; a shudder followed by arms being brought in close. But when the lion sank back on it's haunches, Meg turned toward him. The silence deepened, as she was not inclined to try and talk to an animal.. that would have been simply ridiculous, wouldn't it? Instead, she watched him, and their stares echoed for a lengthy moment before she extended a tentative hand toward him. So that he could sniff her or whatever it was that lions used for greeting the wary.
