He flinched when she reached for him, baring his teeth briefly. When she didn't then use said hand to magically slam him into a wall, he relaxed a little, still watching her with suspicion. Humans with good intentions willing to help wolves were far and few between. Maybe she was one of the princesses he'd heard about every so often, girls who were sweet and kind and trusting. Likely easy to lead astray, as well, easy to lead off the path. She was just lucky he wasn't hungry tonight.
