Helena was a bundle of nerves as she rode back to Bellum. She was returning sooner than she intended, and usually she wouldn't agree that going back to the place where such terrible things happened was a particularly good thing. But back at the hotel she felt a little alone, a little helpless, and more than a little useless. The people she cared were back in the building and while she wasn't sure being there would help much, she found that she needed to be close by them.
Once she spied Vlad through the window she was already grabbing her bag, and sliding the money to the driver. She exited quickly, closing the distance and reaching out to him with her free hand. The recent events made her need to hold onto him that much greater and she lifted her head up to give him a quick kiss. "Hi."
