Pete wasn't too worried about paying for things. He made good money, Vlad had been paying their rent, it made it easy to save. Things would be fine for a while, and he doubted that he'd have a hard time finding a new job. At the same time, there was the severance package and as far as Pete was concerned it better be a damn good one.
He winced a bit at her shrill voice, "Christ Kiki calm down," he said rolling his eyes. "I'm a grown up, I think my wife screwing around with my boss leaves me well within my rights to quit my job," he said standing up off of the couch and making his way to the kitchen and started making coffee.
