A little distant? Ben pondered that description and came to the conclusion that it was fair enough. It wasn't a topic he liked to discuss, however, which he suspected Oliver would be able to easily tune in to. Thankfully, the topic was abandoned for a more recent one.
He gave Oliver a split-second look-- a strange one, proving the coincidence had not gone unnoticed. The good doctor had apparently left Pennsylvania soon after his own relocation. "I don't know, I wanted a change." A drastic change that he made no effort to elaborate upon. Still, it was odd. They had both ended up in the same city, in the same supposedly magical building, in roughly the same frame of time. Why?
"I'm here by accident, I guess. I didn't want to stay in my last building, and I was shopping around. I heard about this place through gossip. I didn't think I would get in, I contacted them out of boredom more than anything." Funny how it all worked out. "What do you mean something drew you here? That's a weird choice of words, considering."
