She hated the fact that she brought the topic back up, hated that she was making him frown, but they did need to discuss this. She listened to him silently, and nodding along event though it was much of what was already discussed in the restaurant. "Is he truly that daunting?" Name aside, Helena found it hard to imagine what The Beast must have been like and how he made Dracula back down. She remembered how Dracula was that night and while it was mostly Mina's fear, Helena would be lying if she said she wasn't taken aback by him too.
When they stopped at the light and he looked at her, her gaze softened when she saw the worry there. She leaned over and gave him a kiss, far too quick and soft for her liking but the light could change any minute. "I just want you safe too. And if the Beast can keep them from you," and Vlad from them, "then it's worth trying?" Talking it out didn't take away from any of the risks that accompanied this plan, but it was looking more and more like the only option.
