Vlad liked to think that he knew Daniel better than most people, and he'd caught his body language and brief glances even if no one else had. He was fairly certain that he approved of Helena, at least, and at the very least he certainly didn't dislike her. "Perhaps staying within the building might be a better idea. We could meet in my apartment, or even R1 - he feels safe there, I believe, especially since the Beast views it as his castle."
The topic of conversation hadn't helped matters by any means, and just the thought of it made him frown. He was silent for a few moments, keeping his eyes forward as he turned the question over in his mind. What Dracula thought of it, well, it wasn't hard to figure out; but Vlad was beginning to think it was their only choice. "I know Dracula," he said finally, glancing at her briefly. "Very few things can stop him. The Beast has size and strength, and that was enough to make him back down last time. You and Ella would likely be safest in R1, and at least that way the Beast might have a chance to stop Dracula from harming anyone else once he realizes he cannot get to Mina."
A red light gave him the chance to look at her properly, and the concern in his eyes was clear. "I cannot stand the fact that you need protecting from me, but it is what it is and I want you safe. Daniel can keep you safe, not to mention Ella, and potentially everyone else. On that note, the Beast could also stop anyone - like Van Helsing - from killing Dracula." Vlad assumed that if Dracula died, he would die along with him - it couldn't be any other way.
