Nothing all night. He finally fell asleep on the couch, only to wake up with the sun on his face and another postcard lying on the floor just beyond the door.
He wasn't disappointed, per se, but his interest only grew with each postcard. He read the note with a wry smile. Very smart. The postcards served as an excellent distraction from the darker matters he currently had to bend his mind toward, baffling but interesting. He should have felt more alarmed, really, but he didn't. If they made a threat, he'd be worried. Until then, he'd just wait to see what came next.
